Ingredients:
- Vegetable Oil – 3 TBSP
- Onions, chopped – 3 TBSP
- Garlic, minced – 4 cloves
- Flour – 3 TBSP
- Nutritional yeast flakes – 1 TBSP
- Tamari – 1/4 cup
- Vegetable Stock – 1 and 3/4 cup
- Dried sage – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp
Directions:
Saute onion and garlic until soft. Stir in flour, yeast, and tamari. Gradually whisk in the stock. Season with sage, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened.
